Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD) are foundational approaches in modern pharmaceutical development, enabling data-driven process understanding, real-time control and quality assurance – key enablers of the intelligent, integrated and increasingly autonomous manufacturing paradigms highlighted at this conference. The EuPAT 13 & CESPE Conference 2026 will bring together researchers and professionals from across academia, industry, and regulatory bodies to explore the our this year’s theme:
Intelligent, Integrated and Autonomous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing:
From Molecule to Medicine through Connected Platforms, AI and Self-Driving Technologies
The conference will focus on how batch, mini-batch and continuous manufacturing platforms, combined with end-to-end integration, automation and digitalization, are shaping drug development and production. Particular emphasis will be placed on integrated development–manufacturing platforms, self-driving laboratories, and disruptive manufacturing concepts, including point-of-care and decentralized production technologies.
Across an implementation-focused industry-led CESPE session, a hands-on workshop, and three scientific sessions, the program highlights next-generation sensors, advanced PAT tools, innovative QbD strategies and the application of artificial intelligence across the pharmaceutical lifecycle.
